youll catch allot of crap for running sony xplods here lots of very helpful people but allot of internet ganstas as well as people who like to kid... really dont wanna run more than 300 w to each one or 600 watts to both.

those subs are not good people will tell u this.there like 300 watt subs but u can go to walmart and get your self a amp to power those subs just fine. i say stay around here and check out some builds and see what every one eles is running and go from there. You dont have to spend 1000s to get loud but if u do it wrong over and over u sure will lol

I would be willing to bet that Sony Xplode subwoofers will sound just fine as long as they are in a properly designed enclosure. Just remember, not everyone cares about dB numbers or loud annoying bass in general! Also, everyone isn't made of money and we all started somewhere!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Also, if one is judging subwoofers by their ability to handle power, I laugh at that concept too. What about certain brands of audiophile grade home speakers that cost nearly six figures but are rated only to handle 25 watts RMS?
