so i officially got scammed on my ov2-1200 (to all of you who thought it was my fault). the guy said something with the power supply was fried b4 i even got it. so anyways, i need a new amp. i need one that does a true 400-600wrms @ 2ohms. and im willing to trade the ov2-1200 too + cash. let me know what you all got

eh, i think thats a little too high too. i know it might be hard for me to buy a decnt 400-600w amp for ~$100, but i already spent $100 on the PA amp that was DOA, so i really dont have the money to spend much more

go to profileusa.com and check out their refurbed 600msx. It does 410X1 @ 2ohms. Nice amp, especially for $59!!

do a search on here. Many people say they are good for what they advertise. I have had a 300w infinity(310a), and a 350w alpine(mrd-m301), and i like this profile better than both.

Ryan, have you ever run any Profile gear? For the money it almost cannot be beat, brother. Their amps are somewhat overrated but I do not think extraordinarily so (it isn't like the Legacy amps claiming a kilowatt when they don't output more than 200 watts and distorted as all get out to boot)

For $59 that refurbed 600MSX may be your best bet on a tight budget.

I have a KAC-X401M I'll let go for $150/shipped if you're interested in that as well. (400w @ 4 Ohm, 600w @ 2 Ohm rated....actual power @ 14.4vdc is a bit higher)
