I was wondering if I could wire my two Memphis 15-PR12D4v2 subs to one ohm without blowing them. Kind of new to this so sorry in advance.

Yes do wire them each 2 ohm the connect the pos n neg together n then to the amp

After I wire my subs this way should i do the square root of 4000 or the square root of 1200? My amp says this.

◦4 ohms: 300 watts x 1 chan.

◦2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan.

◦1 ohm: 1000 watts x 1 chan

As long as you wire it exactly as that diagram shows, your amplifier is 1ohm stable, and you set your gains properly then your subwoofers will be fine.
