Need help

Okay everyone heres the deal... im going to build a fiberglass rear center console for my 2001 jetta and put an 8hour inch sub in it. I should have about .6 cu/ft for the sub enclosure. What sub do you recommend that can run between 300-500watts rms that can fit in that space? So far im thinking sa-8 or 8w7 but im hesitant on the jl because of price. Any recomendations would be awesome! Thanks
