Read his post better. He says it's wired in series/parallel, meaning he would have a 4 ohm load.2-D4 in Series they will give you 16 ohm
2-D4 in Parallel they will give you 1 ohm
big difference...
And it's just what I expected, your amp just doesn't do rated power. With a 20 amp fuse, I wouldn't expect it be anywhere near 1000 watts, maybe closer to 400. I just think you need a better amp. His rockford is probably putting out more power than your amp. Also your amp isn't CEA 2006 rated, so that also leads me to believe it doesn't do rated power. Do you know what model his RF amp is?
