I have 2 Pioneer Champion Pro series subs.. I also have a hifonics bxi1508d.. I would like to know how exactly to tune it.. At 4 ohms 500rms x 1-Channel, 2 ohms 800rms x 1-Channel, and at 1 ohm 1500rms x1- channel..the specs on the subs says each one can take 800 rms and I needa know how to run my amp at 2 ohms and push out right around 800 rms.. Thanks

what ohm and voice coils are the pioneer champion pro series subs? dual 2 ohm, dual 4?

u need to run your amp at 1 ohm to power each with 750 watts because they are rated at 800

this is if the subs are dual 4 ohm voice coils

if they are dual 2 ohm, u can only run it at 2 ohms

They are DVC 4 ohm.. I thought it would damage the subIf u didn't have both voice coils hooked up completely..?
Just use the first picture i posted and wire like that. Its weird, but it will present as a 1 ohm load to the amp and u will get 750 watts rms to each sub and since they are rated for 800 u wont hurt them and should sound pretty good.
