So yesterday I was installing all my equipment into my 1994 Acura Legend. I ran all the wires and started to connect everything to start tuning it.

I connected my 4 speakers to my 4 channel amp. When I turned on my car and started to tune the amp, the music sounded like it was in a hall way and was echoing and sounded muffled at the same time. What could be the problem to this? Have I not tuned it enough or is there a bad ground somewhere?

My equipment:

Alpine Type R 6.5 and 6x9 coaxels

Alpine F-550 amp

Pioneer 790bt deck

I also have a pair of 12" P3's and a hifonics bxi1608 hooked up with the gains set very low. would this have anything to do with it?
