Need Help!!

I have a 1995 Honda Civic with an alarm/keyless entry system. This system worked fine until I decided to remove the old cd receiver. After doing this the alarm stopped working because the alarm was powered off of the stereo's red power wire. So now I went to install the new stereo and attached both wires to the power wire and now for some reason the alarm/keyless entry only seems to work when the key is on the on position. Does anyone have any idea on how this can be solved or has anyone had the same or similar problem?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Ok, I tried using the yellow (constant 12v) wire and it still doesn't work. I tried the yellow and the red, doesn't work. I noticed on the red wire that its labeled: 12v ignition/switched. Under the din area there is this little coin tray or whatever that has 2 toggle switches I'm assuming they are for the alarm. One is a red push button, and the other is an up and down black switch. I tried messing around with these with different combinations of wires but still doesn't work. Any ideas?

The red pushbutton is for programming. The toggle switch is for the valet mode. They really shouldn't have any inpact on whether or not the alarm works, well maybe the valet switch depending on what alarm you have. What about the brown wire you had running with the red to the alarm? What was that hooked up to?

To be honest dude it's time to either take it into the shop or find a friend who knows about this shit to look at it. We can't diagnose this serious ghetto install that you have. Who powers an alarm off of their HU wires, really?
