Need Help

Hey guys, I am new here and looking for some advice. I have around $800 to spend right now on a totally new audio system for my 2000 Ford Explorer. I will be working this summer and making money which will also be put towards this as well. I was wondering what you believe my best bet is, I have a friend with a ton of bass, clear sounding, and not distorted. I feel in love with it. I need a new deck, 4 speakers, looking for two 12 inch subs and obviously an amp. I've been hitting up ebay recently too and finding some fairly amazing deals for myself. But the thing is the whole cost for wiring everything. So if just getting a deck is what I thought should come first and then speakers and then subs and an amp. I'm not looking to go ALL OUT because I know there is still very very good stuff for decent to cheap prices. Any feedback, general feedback, ideas on what I should get first because I obviously cannot afford everything right now will be very appreciated. Thanks guys

well keep looking dont give up...

but depending on what you want. just subs, or subs and a 4ch. i would start with a headunit.. a decent one with the pre-out's you think you would need. and then go from there.... dont forget you get what you pay for..
