Need help!!!!

but its too large of a file size! how can i create a smaller file size!!!! I want this to be my new sig for this forum.

what program did you use to make the animation? If you used photoshop/Image ready, then you can try to use a different file type for your pre .gif animation. What I mean is instead of using the .bmp you can use jpeg and it will be smaller because jpeg uses compression. I might be able to help you more after I find out what program you used.

That is a nice animation for a first timer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif I have never used that program, so I can't help too much more... but the advice still stands try to convert the current images you are using into .JPEG (this can be done in photoshop by just opening it and going to save as... and changing the file type.) If you have photoshop I would recommend using photoshop and Image Ready to create the animations. Maybe google "photoshop/Image Ready animation Tutorial" I just did it and got This site Which looks like a good tutorial. I recommend photoshop/Image Ready because there is more control over what you can put into the animation.

The easiest way to get it down is going to be deleting frames, i got it to ~200kb that way but of course its not as fluid

ya i have photoshop cs2 as well as image ready. im gunna have to look up tutorials on them both. im pretty good with photoshop, but have never used image ready.

its actually really easy. generally what i do is make a bunch of layers and then put them in order of how i want the animation to go. and then i switch over to image ready and animate them

yea thats what i did, i did layers of just slight changes in the image then imported them over the the GIF animator in the orders i wanted them to appear.
