OK my amp turns on but the subs only make this low humming noise like you could barely her it every thing is hooked up correct what do you think is wrong could it be the rca cabels

The same thing happened to me two days ago, it might be the low or high pass filter, because my amp only plays on high pass now so im thinkin i blew the crossover or the low pass filter , i dn im new at this but i was ready to rip the amp right out n trash it.

Seen it happen before. Make sure the LPF is not turned all the way down. Also, if it has a sub-sonic filter make sure it's not turned all the way up.

there it is so should i replace the head unit

i put the rcas in the high pass outputs and turned all the bass up and the amp still works it the decks outputs not the amp

IMO it's in the RCA connection; Poor RCA ground, bad RCA output, bad RCA cable, dirty/corroded RCA connection.
