need help with system

my friend brings his GFs car to my house.. her pioneer 12s are blown so he scraps them. we tested the amp on some other subs last week so we know it works, today he unhooks the amp and brings it into my house.. he bought some DD 1512s d4s with pink cf caps (sexy, i know) so i wire em up, throw em in the box and we put it back in the car.. hook the amp up and NOTHING

i mess with the gain and when i turn it up i get this loud TONE-like buzz.. but it will not play with the music.. i tweak his LPF and Subsonic and still nothing.. even checked his HU settings an everything seems a GO.. idk whats wrong?

possibly out of phase? I wired the pos's and neg's like i always do, even double checked RF wiring wizard and i did it porperly

i switched the RCAs around... not a bit of difference

its like the subs will not even move til you crank the gain and then its a BUZZZ

amp is a GPZ1500.1 wired at 1ohm

ok took the subs out and rewired them.. hooked subs and amp up in my friends truck and only one played.. i took it back out and a wire had came loose.. fixed that and put it back in.. and threw em back in the proper car... same issue.. we went all thru the hu settings and nothing.. im guessing the rca's are bad, or unhooked, or the pre-outs are blown

cuz they were cheapass walmart pioneers and she had the settings jacked.. shewas crankin it at school tryin to show off ant they froze up like (see sig)

its not the amp, he hooked it up in his truck and it played fine... then pulled the cd player out and straight-ran new rcas to the amp and NOTHING.. so he took the cd player back 2 best buy and got a new pioneer 5100.. we'll see what happens when he hooks it up later.. i reminded him to straight run the rcas and test before he completely re-installs

best buy would only give him an in-store credit as return.. so he got the pioneer and a warranty and a videogame lol
