Need help with speaker mounting!! 6x9s in rear dash

I have all re audio interior speakers, and I mounted the 6x9s in the rear dash, but i didnt use the stock mounts i cut the fabric and I wish i didnt,,,, I have the look i was going for just the speaker aren't in there tight enough! I don't know what to do,,,, Plz help... I screwed the speakers down to the padding under the fabric,,, i know dumb!! and now they scratch the metal sometimes!! and when the mid bass hits it sometimes rattles!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

 
oops.

remove the rear deck panel. make a 1/2" or 5/8" wood baffle. use weatherstripping closed cell foam between the baffle and the metal, and between the speaker and the baffle. screw the speaker to the baffle. bolt the baffle to the rear deck. carpet the baffle if it is visible.

then find a new rear deck at a junk yard and get the factory look back. or, modify the rear deck further, so it looks right.
