YEA i am gonna use a heat gun my sister just has to find hers first lol!

so it will not affect the performance of it deaden it by like cutting the triangles out and stuff! do i need to do the thinner pieces that stick out!

SO SORTA DO IT LIKE THIS ??

the sticking out part is the part that is circled to the right the sunk in part is the left the stuck out part is like a support thing

Cut it and put it on the flat panels , you can also use some expanding foam (sparingly) on the inside of the brace. Not too much or you will push out the panels on your trunk.

I put Raamatt over the base, then cardboard over those 3 indent places and any other small holes, then another layer, then ensolite.

On the outside I used weather foam to prevent any other rattles.

Holy over complicating a simple job.
Oh, and imo using peel n seal hung upside down from your trunk lid is a recipe for disaster.
well i have never ever done any deading but i am pretty sure once i do it it will not be as complicated i just do not wanna do it and it look bad or not perform the way it is suppose too!

and the disaster eh all i could afford not keeping the car much longer i just wanna learn with this before i actually get like raamat or something of higher quality know what i mean!

It will work decently. Just buy a can of expanding foam and Peen n Seal.

Just shoot foam in all the holes in the parts that stick out. Then after that has completely dried and cured (wait a good solid 3-4 days just to make sure) layer over it with Peel N Seal. Just stick it on there however you can. Neatness doesnt really count.

Just put as much of it on as you can. Try to go like 3-4 layers thick if you can. The Peel N Seal is like $15 a roll and the foam is like $4 a can. For everything it will be about $20.

For that $20, just buy a quart of Second Skin Spectrum. Will do your trunk lid no problem. It will work 10x better than the Peel N Seal and look much nicer also. Id still fill in the holes on the trunk supports though.
