Need help with refrence boxs?

I just purchased a car and the wiring to the deck was all cut i Re wired it the deck works now but no sound from the speakers/tweaters there's a amp in the truck but behind the deck there is 2 black boxs that say refrence on them looks like you can hook wires up there's positives and negative, nothing is hooked up to them though can anyone help

Should they be running to the amp?

wires from the speaker outs on the amp to the inputs on these

So I removed the front negative and positive Sewell as the back ones "purple and green wires" and the sound started working but I noticed my amp isn't turning on and just listening to half a song it killed my battery? Any suggestion
