Need help with receiver decision...6 to choose from!

My main goal with my project is to get the best sound quality and output while still keeping a nice look in my ride n i need some input/opinions

All of these are off of ebay and used!

Whatever I choose will be the source to power two AQ 2200's and HDC312'S, so i'm torn between the higher preout voltage of the eclipse and the others.

The three basic receivers are pretty similar, the major differences is that the Eclipse has a (8V) preout and 14x4 rms. the pioneers have 22x4 rms. the 980 is a 5V and the 960 is a 6.5V.

How much of a difference does the voltage in the head unit take?

Can I hook up my ipod or mp3 player to these with just the AUX feature?
