need help with reading box specs

[305 SERBOI 10+ year member]

kicker tech sent me build a 2.82 cubic feet box per sub woofer and port displacment included with a 33 square inch opening(3"x11" at 16.5" deep into the box n i dont have a clue i need help .this is for 12 kicker L7's 08 model in a ported box and will be pushed with a mmat 2100.1 any info would be great thanks for ur time

if someone can tell me where to type in the numbers cuz this thing is hard this is my first time trying to build a ported box any info would be great

you should go to that glossery on the12volt.com and read them meanings and match up that you have. Or you can go to the RE box calulator and just enter the dimensions you want. and play with it. it shows you your box volume and square port area. and it also shows the tunning.

If you use the re box calc you need to subtract the sub displacement from the volume and put the figures into the 12volt or another port calculator or else tuning will be off. RE doesnt take sub displacement into consideration so your tuning will be off when you add the sub.
