This may be a very stupid question but I am going to ask it anyway as I need to make sure that I do this correctly. After reading a thread I purchased 2 of these 4 AWG Breakaway Power Connector 175A (shown in the link above). I have never had quick disconnects but I would like to incorporate this into my vehicle. Once I install these my question is do I need to remove the ground cable from the battery everytime I want to disconnect them from the box or reconnect them when I put the box back in the vehicle (it is a box with a built in amplifier) or can I just go to the trunk and pull these apart and hook them back up everytime without any other adjustments or issues. I greatly appreciate your insight.
