Need help with Pioneer Premier Amp

Hi guys I have a Pioneer Premier PRS-D3000SPL Mono Amp and I may have short circuited or blew a fuse I dont not know. I was replacing the Sub grill (I have one Pioneer Premier TSW-D3001D4 tied to this amp, my speakers are tied to a different 4 channel amp) and had to remove the sub from the sub box and I think in the process of replacing the grill the Amp blew because the wires got crossed. It is not the sub cuz I took it down to Best Buy (they installed it) and they tested the sub. Sub was thumping and was fine. They didnt really test the amp cuz I was in a rush. Here are my questions:

1. Could accidentaly crossing the wires inside the sub box blow the amplifier out?

2. Is the amplifier fixable without having it be repaired? Like did I just blow a fuse or something?

3. If the status led light on the actual amp is like a flickering blue instead of a solid blue (means its working), does that mean a fuse is blown, or something inside the amp is blown?

4. I have a capacitor going into the amp. Does that matter?

well , 1st off you dont ever want to connect or disconnect any connections with the power on. if you have a light coming on the amp then its more than likely not a fuse. im almost posative its internal. if the light is blinking that may be a sign of amp going into protect mode.

By power on you mean the car right? If yes, then yea I did not do any connecting or disconnecting while the car was on. It was off. I can see how you got confused. Sorry.
