Need help with picking out my first subwoofer

I want deep low bass while still being loud. I was leaning toward the alpine type r 15 but i would like some suggestions on other subs. My budget for a sub(s) is 200 dollars(a liitle more would be fine). around 1200 watts

what model is your amp? I'd go with the american bass xfl, they get lower and louder easier than the 15" type R.

BK1300.1D or BK1800.1D depends on what sub i end up getting. I'm liking the looks of the American Bass xfl15! Thanks for the suggestion.

Im running 4/XFL 12s and they get down pretty good.Bang the hell out of them,and never get warm.You cant go wrong with them..Id even suggest an AB Mon o amp also..Mini Hybrid Class D,with more p[ower, and prob half the size of the BK amps

look at the c2 audio from carstereo giant, when you go to the 1800w you will need at least 1 extra battery at the back to keep up with the voltage.

I was looking at the xfl 15 on the American bass website and i noticed that they only had the 4 ohm version. So i did a Google search and found a xfl 15 in a 2 ohm version. My question is why doesn't the American bass website carry the 2 ohm one. or maybe is it because it is a different generation sub idk???

@mylows10 ; is an authorized dealer, he will get you all set up. You will be more than happy with an AB XFL series sub, my single 12 absolutely pounds on 1200W RMS in my giant custom built box.
