Need help with Ohms

ok my friend just got tweeters, and are 8ohms tweerters

what ohm # would it became if we run a 8ohm tweeter and a 4ohm speaker on the same channel?

and going to be running them off a deh-p960mp.

Would this setup damage the hu?

No telling without know what the other speaker was.

Example; 8ohm tweeter on the same channel in parallel as a component set (8ohm tweeter w/ 4ohm mid). Tweeter highpass @ 5khz, component set tweeter highpassed at 5khz, midwoofer lowpassed at 5khz. 5khz and above the amp would see 4ohms since it would see both tweeters, below 5khz it would still see 4ohm since it is only seeing the midwoofer. At 5khz it would see 2ohms since it would "see" all three speakers in parallel.

Ofcourse that example assumes infinite slopes....but it shows you that the crossover points and slopes aswell as the other speakers and their crossover points and slopes will determine the final impedance that the amplifier sees, and how it will vary by frequency due to the crossovers.

ok the speakers are pioneer ts-a1671r and the tweeters are pioneer ts-s250
