Need help with ohms before i buy speakers....

i cant understand ohms law to save my life... i have a cheap planet audio 5000 watt monoblock amp at 1 ohm stable,,so i thought i would look for 2 2ohm 15 inch speakers and wire down to one...but instead i found allot of dual voice coil 4 ohm 15s...can i wire one down from the voice coils to 2 ohm THEN wire both down to 1 ohm????? someone plz shed some light on the subject...

yes you can. 2 dual 2's how ever can be wired to 2 and .5 and two dual 1's can be wired to 1 ohm or 2 ohm
