Need help with new neo sub

Well I bought this sub off my friend and i dont know anything about it. anyways i put it in my blazer in a 12 inch box that i cut the hole bigger to fit the 15, and it just dooesnt sound loud to me. i texted my friend about it and he said maybe the neo needs recharged??? i figured ok that shouldnt be too hard, well i took it out of the box and there is no place to plug an extension cord to. i thought by charge he meant like plug into the wall to charge it with electricity. is this not the right way to do it? do i just have to splice an extension cable to my + and - on my sub? I dont wanna cut up an extension cord if this isnt how to do it. please help me asap i wanna be able to be heard from a mile away and break windows like i did with my 2 12 inch kicker l5s.

since im new here it wont let me post pics but its a dynamic designs(aka DD) sub and i think the model number is 91z15

no im not new to car audio i am just new to these subs that need charged. i hate jl audio my buddy has a w7 and it doesnt even get loud or make the rearview mirror rattle like my l5s did. they are way to much for only being like 1000 watts.

i didnt even know that made different subs til my friend told me about this. he said he wanted 1000 for it but i dont have that kinda cash so i traded him my 800 dollar dirt bike straight up for it cuz he told me it would take at least 6000 watts since its neo and not just a normal magnet. after doing some research, no thanks to you guys, it looks like i have to mail it to a company with a special charging machine?

And as a side note.......how the fark would you charge the magnet through the speaker terminals......if that were even remotely close, your amp would be charging the neo everytime ya played it.......
