hi all
i just installed a hertz hx300 12'sub powered by hertz ep1d. the sub sounds nice, it plays low notes and punchy, but i feel that it doesnt hit hard enough. for example if i play jazz the bass is excellent, but if i play slow rock i have to " listen" to it to be able to hear the bass. is that how a sq sub suppose to sound ( smooth and not booming) ? i feel that my component overpower the sub.
should i adjust my hpf again to get more mid bass from the comp? or increase my sub gain?
btw my comp are hertz dcx165 (F) and dsk165 ® powered by audison sr4
any opinion is appreciated
thanks
