Need help with my potential setup.

I currently have a pretty budget setup going.

(1) Orion Cobalt 800.1 Mono Amp (Linkage)

(2) Orion Cobalt 10" SVC CO104S (Linkage)

Parallel wiring to drop my impedance to 2ohms (Pic)

The problem is I keep locking up subs. I'm running parallel and all the numbers match up... but anyways, I'm not here to talk about locked up subs.

I currently have an extra 800.1 amp sitting in my closet. I'm thinking of installing that amp as well and running 2 Orion XTR Pro DVC 10" subs in my box instead. (Sub Linkage)

My question is, would this setup work? Would I get enough RMS out of the amp for the sub, or would I lock these up by underpowering them? Would I need the 4ohm or 2ohm sub? Which wiring setup should I go with?

Would I get enough RMS out of the amp for the sub, or would I lock these up by underpowering them?

Well the amps are rated at 400 watts each, and the subs are rated at 500 watts. It would be fine. You'll want the dual 4ohm subs.
