Since no one else has, I will chime in...

Main question would be "What is your budget for the amp?"

This configuration will allow you to throw more power to the sub:

If you get a 2ohm sub you can wire it 2ohm or 1ohm but your amp will have to be stable at 1ohm

This configuration can only push the sub at 2 ohm, no lower:

If you get a 4ohm sub can be wired at 4ohm or 2ohm.

So, depending on your amp budget will depend on your outcome...

If you are going to get 2, go for the 2 ohm because that way you can wire them at 2 ohms stable on a single channel amp. Otherwise you will need a 1 ohm stable mono amp (usually more expensive) or a run the subs at 4 ohms on a dual channel amp (also more expensive and running at 4 ohms reduces your rms and peak wattage delivered to the subs).
