Need help with jasper circle jig

My problem is, i just received my router jig and was going to make some rings for my next box. Set-up was really easy, but read a couple places that I need to take the bit into concideration. i was wondering if that just with homemade jig and not the jasper. Because i'm using the 1/4 in. bit recommended, so i should be able to go with the measurements off of the jig?

Help

My rings will be

outer edge 10 1/12"

inside edge: 9 1/8"

where should i set my pivot points?

Thanks

Yep 1/4" straight cut bit is what the jasper is calibrated for . I believe it's calibrated on the inside of the cut . But I'm not exactly sure , I can check when I get home, if no one can answer before then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah its calibrated for 1/4 inch bit, if you use a bigger bit it will cut a bigger hole.

And yes the pivot numbers are for inside cuts. Youll have to first cut the outside edge @ 10-9/16" (jasper only goes by 16ths) , and then the inner edge at 9-1/8". When you cut outer edges you just have to add 2* the bit diameter.
