Okay I have 2 memphis m class 12"s (dual 4 ohm, 200watt rms 400max ea). Like i week ago i bought a phoenix gold xeneon 600.1 (bench testes at 816.1, 1-4 ohm stable). I have the subs wired to 1 ohm..means gettin 408 ea sub. well i hate amp gains all way up (stupid thing to do) and after about a week of playin and for sum reason a few daysa go i was blow fuses for no reason...and today it started to smoke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif . so i shut it off. when i got home i checked it and subs seemed fine..so i decided to do the amp gain tut. i followed it and when my amp was whole way up and it read about 150 volts?! i was like wtf? so i set it to 28.28 best i could(using non-digital voltmeter). pluged every thing in and turn it on..it sounded like it was barly hitting so i was like oo yeah my bass is turned down and eq is off..soo i turn it up and put eq on...still not hitting rly..turned loud on....STILL not hitting....my poopy used factory speakers hooked up tot he HU is louder then my subs...am i doing somthing wrong and if i am what?
