ok i have a set of re comps that ran 75x2@4. it wad not enough to keep up with my mt.

the amp i have now is the hp-4800(ordered) it does

65x4@4

100x4@4

& 200x2@4.

i will run two sets of coaxils up front(1 door, 1 Kick). don't want to do comps due to imaging.

i was thinking may 4 revs, 4 memphis's or something else.

i want a strong mid bass and want to get the most out of my amp for what i want.

so caraudio.com , please pimp my front stage!!!!!

no i mean trying to setup 2 different sets of comps and place 4 tweeters in the front of a mustang is **** near impossible,i barely got my first two setup.

i just mean it is real hard trying to set up to sound right.

And how exactly did you plan on this getting any better with using co-axials, considering you'll still have 4 tweeters playing and not have the ability to place them and aim them to obtain better results?

There are component sets out there capable of getting loud. My old Boston Pro6.5 comp set w/ 400w per side would keep up with 140+db of bass in my old setup.

HLCD's are another good option, if you have some //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif you could spend.

ok after doing a little research. i am thinking about the following.

boston pro60's and run them at 200x2@4 (3ohm)

or

Try my re set at the same 200x4

or go with a rainbow set with a 4 woofer setup( depending on if it can take the 200 and not to pricey)

what other comps will take 200 a side?

will the bostons with 200+ be louder than the re with 75?(feel dumb with that question)

which rainbows with a dual woofer setup will compare to bostons and take the power

Hi helotaxi,
Why is this bad? I was thinking about doing the same thing because I heard sound coming from the rear was not good.

Multiple drivers playing the same frequencies are bad mmkay. Leads to problems with image , and can cause point sourcing . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It can cause the comb filtering effect which will distort the perception of the imaging in the front. You could use dual woofers in series or parallel but I would only use a single set of tweeters.
