Need help with fiberglass

Ok so i havent done fiberglass in about 2 years and im having trouble with fabric. What are you guys using to stretch over your framework? i got the frame done, mdf ring mounted on panel, and ive been using this real strechy fabric and hot glueing it along the edge as i go. The problem is its messy and hard, along with the fact that when i go around corners it gets all bunched up. So what should i use? ive seen guys wrap vinyl and i just dont see how they can get around corners with out it getting bunched up and buckling over?

if a piece does end up getting bunched, is it unheard of to fill it in with body filler in that stage? Because i am having that issue too.

i stretched the fleece as best i could, then made up my resin, coated my fleece with the resin, the matted over it, then let it try took all the high spots out, bondoed ALOT, the puttied air bubbles, primed, painted.

SO how do guys doing interior vinyl not run into this problem????

That's why you don't use fleece for small pieces and intricate shapes. You want something that stretches better than fleece so you can stretch it well past the backing piece to get all the wrinkles out.

Vinyl is similar in that you want to be able to stretch it well past the edge of the piece to pull out the wrinkles.

I think I read that if you can only get a bunch'd up section when stretching, just resin the rest then when its dry cut out the bunch and recover that hole and resin it

sounds good guys thanks for the helps, i already had the other one wrapped waiting for resin, just wanted an idea for when i get horrid angles and bends in the future.
