Need help with Extra Batteries

Got bang?
I plan to be running an Kx 2500.1 @ 2 ohm, and hopefulley .5 ohm for burps, so I recentley bought a new Ac Delco Battery for starting and plan to buy 2 yellow tops, but would it be smarter to either

1. Leave the Ac Delco battery for starting, and put both yellow tops in the back

or

2. Put 1 yellowtop under the hood and put the other yellow top in the back.

depends on size of the yellow tops i would also say why not get batteries with more capacity? if you are getting this for a daily driver something that WILL stay more consistant longer is good

hopefully you have an HO alt and plenty of 1/0 gauge wire or else those batteries would be of no good use. i'd personally return one of the yellowtops and run the delco under the hood and yellowtop in the back

i know i bought alot of 1/0, but will a 200 amp alternator and 1 yellowtop be enough for a kx 2500.1?
i'd personally go for a 250 amp alt. that yellowtop will also draw on your electrical system. that second battery needs to get charged as well. however it can be a "bandaid" since you can run it down a lot and still keep a constant current. imo i like to have more power under the hood then buying batteries.

those batteries (deka are different than an optima) optimas have less plates done up like a 6 pack of beer where the deka is lined with plates fully hence why it has a higher capacity and is heavier. 1 2400 kinetik would be pushing it with that amp (kicker amps especially that 1 is no JOKE!) and from what i have messed with those intimidators are a notch or 2 under the kinetiks at least in capacity (kinetik 2400 capacity is over 120 ah). if you try it with just 1 watch it and after you play it look at the battery to make sure it isnt overly hot or begins to swell.

Battery Bank + HO Alt=***

Playing full tilt with 2 amps that draw a shit ton of current and voltage wont even shutter.

Audiolife, I know you have some experience in the battery industry, which would you prefer, Deka or Optima?

I konw you are a kinetik guy, but still which one do you believe is better?

alts are always reacting to the loadso they are always behind the load reacting too it i dont care what mythological voltage regulator people say they have.

from what i have honestly seen for daily deka for burps optima

i know people will say that they "check stuff" with a dmm but if the dmm doesnt have a instantanious function to it the dmm will just average out what happens over time rather than show peaks and dips. (alot of this stuff happens really really fast) the dmm i used saves peaks (low and high) i dont go through and eye ball that info.
