Need help with enclosure design for my backseat

Im gettin two 15's and i wanna put the box in my back seat. after some research i noticed alot of people have the subs facing up but i can never see what kind of port they have a ware.. and should the back seat latch be taken out so the port can fire straight into the trunk.. or does the trunk get sealed off from the rest of the car?

if the port should face the front.. what kinds of ports tho.. if it vented should the vent be verticle so it fires inbetween the two seats or what
