Need help with Eclipse AVN6600 DVD playback

my AVN 6600 plays store bought DVD's just fine but any burned movies get really sketchy playback.

What could be causing this?

does anyone else have this problem with the eclipse units?

Are you using DVD+ or DVD-? What program do you use to burn movies? What's the namebrand of your preferred disc? What write speed do you burn at?

These things need to be known in order to help you...

I always use DVD+ Discs. I use 1 Click DVD with Any DVD as my decrypter. I don't see write speed in the settings so I imagine it writing at max speed.

I have been using the Staples brand of discs, but notice the problem on almost any brand disc that I have tried.

To be more specific on the problem. The movie may start out fine but 10 minutes to 60 minutes into the movie it begins to digitize the picture and stop playback.

however on a store bought disc all is good.

let me know if you have any suggestions.

Sounds like encryption errors. 1 click dvd is like dinosaur $hit.....old.

Try DVD Fab Platinum @ 4x write speed + Name brand discs. Should take care of the problem.

DVD Fab Platinum does not require stand alone add-ons. Insert disc and click start.

I looked up DVDFAB and $50 is a bit steep for me right now. is there a less expensive solution?

Use dvd decrypter to decode them than nero 7 to re write them. DONE

Memorex discs. Been using them for years.

DVD Fab Platinum is worth the $50. But you could find it for free if that's what you want to do. It's all over the internet...

Dose not matter what kind of disk today's dvd players do not care it reads it just the same. Also it has been proven that there is not real difference in the formats.

OK- SO i GOT DVDFAB and burned a movie. No more problems and much better than using one Click DVD
