Need help with door speaker install

I ordered 4 alpine type r 6x8s that are rated 100w rms. I have an spl 2 channel amp thats rated 370w rms at 2 ohms . Can you wire 4 speakers to one channel?
why would you want to do that? and also your final ohm load on that one channel would be 1ohm or 4ohm and your amp may not be stable there at 1ohm and might not do enough power at 4ohm.

You can wire 4 speakers to 2 channels... which is what I think you meant.
I wasn't sure if he was trying to run a sub off the 1 remaining channel but yea two speakers per channel at 2ohms would be the only right way to do it but you will lose the ability to fade the speakers front to back but depending on placement you may not need too.

If i wired 2 speakers to 2 channels , that would be too much power. I just ordeted another sa15 and this is the amp i have pushing the one u have now so i thought if it would work that'd be great.

And why would couldn't it be a 2ohm load? The speakers are 4ohms. And if anyone knows of a cheaper amp they KNOW will work that'd be great. If the amp I have wont work, im gonna buy one that will. Spent too much money upgrading my system for it to not work.

not really too much power my comps are rated at 125 rms and I run 225 to each with no problems, just set the amp correctly for clean power and you should be fine, if anything your leaving your amp plenty of headroom for those loud musical peaks.

Musical power is dynamic. That amp would be fine powering two speakers per channel, left and right. End power delivered to the speakers depends on gain setting, volume control, and supply voltage.

Two 4 ohm speakers in parallel is 2 ohms

Four 4 ohm speakers in parallel is 1 ohm

In the end, you want to maintain stereo separation, left and right... Assuming these speakers are front/rear, left/right - you combine front right and rear right together on one channel fed by the right HU output, and you combine front left and rear left on one channel fed by the left HU output.

Any 2 channel amp that is 2 ohm stereo stable, or any 4 channel amp can power the four type-R speakers. How loud you can play them is determined by the amplifier power ratings. 50W is fine, 200W is fine, 400W is fine considering the power rating does not mean that is how much power the speaker will see, just how much it may possibly be able to see for a musical peak, given volume, gain, and supply voltage align to allow it.
