Ok so I went to the local car audio shop and asked for a quote for a single 12" ported sub enclosure. I did not ask for anything special not even carpet and yet they told me $200.00. Seems like $200 is just their number as I have asked them for bigger enclosures in the past and they said the same thing.Well obviously that is a rip off since a sheet of MDF is like $30.
I tried building a box in the past and failed miserably so that is not something I really want to try again, at least not right now. I was looking at audiosavingsdotcom and came across these two sub enclosures. I know "prefab sux" and "you should just build it yourself". I just want you guys to tell me out of the two which you think would be better for my Soundqubed HDC312. FYI I listen to mainly rap. The latter actually does give a tuning frequency which is 38 but I don't know how trustworthy that number is. Any help is greatly appreciated
