Alright i just joined the forums and need to decide what subs to put in my car because when i got it it had 2 12" explodes so i need something other than that crap. I know my subs and i have 2 re sx 15's in my truck. I have a 1968 mustang coupe i want something that will BANG but not wreck my car because im restoring everything right now im looking at kicker l7's but i need some help on ported or sealed and what subs to get fi btl, w7's, kickers, apline type r ?? but i want loud bass that will bump but i want 12's. the demesions of usable space in the trunk is 66" in width 18" in height and 24" in length. Thanks

Budget and how much power you plan on running? If you could, why not just get the 12" RE SX's? Otherwise I'd sat FI or Sundown Audio. If you want loud go ported for sure, just get a proper box built.

My budget is maybe 450 for the subs and 200-250 for an amp i dont know what power im trying to put up but i want to bump and have it so people can hear it a ways away without wrecking my car, im looking at some btl 12's but ive never looked at the sx 12's or the HDC3 but what cubic ft should i have for a ported box for one of the HDC3's and should i pay the extra $70 for an aluminum coil and what amp would go good with it? Thanks guys
