Need help with basic build

Gosh, I sure am jealous of the 2011 and 2012 models. Leaps and bounds ahead of my 2009>.
No need, that elantra is nice, I was looking at those before I bought mine. Plus, it's easy to replace HUs in yours.

I like a manual, and it was just too hard to find a decent used one.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I will do the front doors, learn about deadening,

and replace the front speakers. I think if I take my time, it will work out ok.

Now looking at more front speaker choices.

Oh the doors are even easier! Well, to an extent haha. The doors are cake to get off. The speakers on the other hand, were much more difficult. As the speakers were built into their baffle all as one piece, and like... riveted to the door frame. So we literally had to saw the speakers out. Hopefully yours aren't the same, if so, just have a skill-saw ready.

And as easy as my HU may be to replace... I'd gladly take that frustration for the vastly improved 6-speed auto transmission, engine, suspension, and gas mileage.

An Elantra like yours was the first Hyundai I drove. Really impressed me,

and made me take a serious look at Hyundai. So, when you got the door cards out,

the speakers were RIVETED to the door? YIKES! Did you try to drill out the rivets?

Did things improve after you got the old ones out? Did the new ones go in easy?
