need help with Autotek Amp

i have an autotek 1400.1d amp wired 1 ohm to 2 12" kicker L7... the amps volume is very very low and now when i turn it up loud it goes into protection... it was working fine for awhile then it just kept going into protection.. i unhooked amp and then re wired the subs to 4 ohms and the volume is still very low.. is the amp blown.... thanks alot..

For the low volume check the polarity and the switch that says 0-180, it should be on 0. For it shutting down check your ground.

well i re wired everything... so i now the ground is correct... i had it running 1 ohm for like 2 weeks then it just quit working....
