Need help with Alpine IVA-D106 head unit..

Hey guys, I just purchased the Alpine IVA-D106 unit with the navigation attachment and I can't seem to figure out how to get into the settings at all. The installers put a switch underneath the steering wheel so I could watch DVD's while on the move... this unit doesn't allow for that so the switch bypasses it, but I still can't get into the settings... any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks guys.

Does the navigation option show up??? if so touch setup...put your foot on the brakes and flip that switch 2 times you should see your options come up... you may have to remove any dvd/cd from the unit also.
