i have a kenwood deck and a 1200 watt sony xplod xm-gtr 2022 amp and a 15'' concept competition sub that has a max rms of 2000 watts. everyone tells me sony xplod amps **** but not this one. my sub hits hard and i had it tested and its hitting 156.7 db. im entering it into a comp after i dynamat the trunk. and ideas on what i should do to make it louder? maybe LPF settings, low boost, and filter.

Turn the LPF, bass boost, and gain all the way up, and turn up the bass on the head unit. The xplode is a great amp, it will be able to handle it. It says it will put out 1200 watts, but I know for a fact it will crank out 3000rms easily as long as you turn up the gain and are using at least 12 gauge power wire.
