need help with a design like this

I need help almost copying this design exactly, however i i need it for one 15 rather than 2 12"s, Sub Up Rather than back, and port back. Any help or advice?

Sub is a Pierce Audio Product 15D4

Specs:

Just one port?

whatever the box calls for. this is going in a ford explorer (same as the picture above) so whatever sounds best. I do not quite understand the diffrences between having one port on the side or say one areoport on each side. Does one on each side make the sound more symmetrical?

Not 100% sure, but I wouldn't think so. You could use aeroports but if you have the room I think you'd be better to do one slot port. What 15" sub do you have?
