need help with a cap

I just got a cap and want to know how to drain it without the piece that comes to do it with. I want to sell it. I've heard its bad to just unhook it without draining it. Any help? Thanks

heres the best help ur gona get ...1)take cap to closest dumpster/garbage can

2)insert cap in said receptical

3)walk away

I'm gonna sell it to someone on cl. How do I drain it?

Pull the fuse to your amp (the wire feeding the cap) then turn your system on. The amp will discharge the cap most of the way. Then disconnect the cap and put a 4 ohm sub voice coil across it for a minute. Or jab a screwdriver across the terminals and make some sparks.

or buy the 15 cent resistor that came with it from any elec. store

Get drunk and short the terminals with a screwdriver.
