Need help wiring MB Quart PCE216

Guys,

I was doing the install today and ran into a question.

The mid has two sets of terminals on each side. On one end, there is a "Screw" (i am assuming its positive) and a flat terminal (negative).

On the opposite end, the same combo exist.

My guess is that the model allows the tweeter to be installed as a coaxial.

I am doing the components method.

From the user's manual, it looks like I have to connect the positive of one side and the opposite side, I would connect to the negative.

Can somebody confirm this please.

Is the "screw" represent a positive polarity?

On the picture it shows both connections going to the "screw" like terminal? I am so confused. Help.

I have a set of MB Quart components, too. One side is the positive terminal and the other is the negative terminal. The actual terminal is the piece that is sticking out, not the screw, to be used with spade connectors. Is that what your referring to? On the crossover itself, there are 2 sets of power inputs, in case you want to bi-amp the components. There are two including "forks" that will bridge the positive and negative sets of inputs if your not bi-amping them...

Yes I am talking about the terminal. On one side, both terminals seem to share the same piece of metal (the metal piece touches it each other).

On the other side, the screw is connected to a wire that goes to the cone. The spade terminal doesn't seem to contact anything else.

So which one is neg and pos?

To be honest...I dont know. I just picked which one and was consistent on the other side...
