rite now my setup is 2 jl 12w6 with a jl1000/1 mono block amp. i want more bass. i was thinkin bought some digital design subs but im not 2 sure ne suggestions will help thanks.
WOW ! You have that and you want more bass? I would think that would be quite impressive. I hope you find what you are looking for. You could always try a ported box for increased bass. You have a very nice set up right now.
Your probally looking for more SPL then, cause that setup has to be very acurate.
With the JL Audio amps you will run clean but always at the same impedence (as to a matching network), thus your not driving the subs as much as you really can.
2 options. New amp that can run at 1ohm or a set of subs that you can wire to 2-4 ohm and build a ported box.
