Yea...just buy her somethin unique but not necessarily expensive or super nice jewelry, and take her somewhere nice for dinner...do somethin special together

Man just a tip..

ive been married twice. First to a swedish woman and now to a norwegian. Because of the distances we need to travel to see family and our love of travel and such, we have always made an agreement to NEVER spend money on expensive gifts for each other and instead put the money into a travel account or the such,, or just do nothing and save the money. Jewelry is cool but is not nearly as cool as 2 weeks on the beach in greece, thailand or seeing family in the north of norway. Do not get into the expensive gift for every occassion. Make an agreement and i think both of you will be more happy in the long run.

Also, lots of jewelry is FU@ked. I work in the humanitarian sector, most recently in africa (somolia and kenya) what i can tell you (or show you on video if u really want to see) about the jewelry trade in this world will make you so sick you might never want to see a piece of jewelry again in your life (especially certain diamonds ALL TANZANITE and lots of african gold.) Try to be a responsible human if you indeed go ahead and buy something.

By no means am i an activist, I specialize in development and or cleaning up disasters and the futures for people in ****ed places. (in indonesia for a year after the tsunami).

Stay away from Kay Jewelers.....VERY low quality.
I have always been a fan of Jared's...(yes I know the stores are "related", but there is a HUGE difference in quality!)...just gotta be on your toes so that you know what you are getting......what metal do you plan on going with??? Silver? Gold? If doing a bracelet, go 10k, necklace or anything of the like, stick with 14k.

If going white gold, check to see if they have a "plating" warranty, as the white WILL rub off.

If you aren't going to Jareds, make sure whatever you buy is stamped. 10k, 14k, 18k, or 925 if going silver.

Jared's has nice shit but it's higher than giraffe pussssy

BTW I got my wife something like this for our 9th anniversary, only cost me about $180 with a little bigger of a chain and she loves it.

And while Kays may not be the best you seriously are paying more for a brand by going to the more expensive places, for a large diamond they have the Leo line which is higher quality like you would find and the higher end places but as for the other 99% of the jewelry there really is no difference no matter who with money wants to tell you different.

well, my girl and i have been dating almost a year, and i want to get her something nice. she always gets me stuff and i feel bad that i don't get her much, so i want to get her some kind of decent jewelry.

I have to say that I lived in Arlandastad Svergie for almost a year back in 1997/98 and went to Oslo and copenhagen for a few days here and there to work on some planes for SAS, and that is some of the most beautiful countries I have ever been to...the women are fricken smokin' but everything is friggen so dang expensive!!!!! holy moses 45 sek for a lapin kulta 7.0 or some spendrups...

Very expensive to get drunk in sweden but go to rinkeby torg and get some awesome lebbanese blond or some black afghan hash for cheap...

was just talikng with my wife about how expensive things are there. always have been from a U.S. dollar perspective. She said something mind blowing though. When she was younger and working at a U.S. equilivant of a min. wage job... she was able to live fine, able to go out whenever she wanted and pay the bills AS WELL AS put the equiv. of 10,000 u.s dollars in the bank AND pay 8,000 down on her student loans.. So i guess all is relative. It is a living wage vs. a minimum wage that is given here in the u.s. Almost impossible to compare the two economies though.....
