need help w anniversary gift

well, my girl and i have been dating almost a year, and i want to get her something nice. she always gets me stuff and i feel bad that i don't get her much, so i want to get her some kind of decent jewelry.

prob is, i don't know sh1t about jewelry. i don't really know where to go, or what to look for. i was thinking something with both of our birthstones in it but both of ours are pretty ugly (peridot and sapphire). i was also thinking pearls or something? she mentioned tiffany's but idk really.

i don't have much money so i want to get the most bang for the buck. i found

Stay away from Kay Jewelers.....VERY low quality.

I have always been a fan of Jared's...(yes I know the stores are "related", but there is a HUGE difference in quality!)...just gotta be on your toes so that you know what you are getting......what metal do you plan on going with??? Silver? Gold? If doing a bracelet, go 10k, necklace or anything of the like, stick with 14k.

If going white gold, check to see if they have a "plating" warranty, as the white WILL rub off.

If you aren't going to Jareds, make sure whatever you buy is stamped. 10k, 14k, 18k, or 925 if going silver.

just do something fun that she will really like. Especially if you don't have a lot of money.

she doesn't like gold. she said she'd rather have silver, and no dangly earrings, she likes the studs. and i would get her something different but its something she really wants and i always try my best to get her what she deserves. i can't always get her the greatest in the world but i'm going to get her the nicest stuff i can.

I'd look into synthetic diamonds. They have all the sparkle and look of real diamonds, D color, flawless, but very cheap.
