Need help w/ a receiver!!!

hey i am going to buy a cd/tape combo and was wondering if this model:

1) is good

2) can i hook my 2 12" subwoofers to this using the front and rear preamp outputs???

please help!!!!

p.s. what do preamp outputs do compared to subwoofer outputs, etc.

That's a decent deck, but for the money I believe you can find better.

Preamp outputs are for connecting your headunit to processors, amps, eq's and such.

yes you could connect your subs to that headunit but I would strongly suggest an amp.
