Need help Valor ida-700w

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to bypass the parking brake wire on my Valor ida-700w indash unit so my wife can watch dvds while I drive? I would appreciate any help i could get. Please email me at

You should never do that as it's illegal, irresponsible, stupid, and you would likely be distracted by it and crash into a family of 6 spilling a tangled mess of blood, metal, and guts all over the highway. You are an idiot. You would probablywant to put remote start on a manual ***** car too wouldn't you? If she needs to watch dvd's in the car, get an overhead setup and have her sit in the back seat moron.

First you don't know where I have it installed idiot. I have the unit installed behind me in my wifes car I am not dumb enough to watch and drive thanks for fussing about a issue you don't even know the story about. I have a regular head unit up front.

And where exactly would you put that DIN sized pop-up monitor, and need to ask about disabling the parking brake? Most people that buy that type of monitor use it in the dash, so it was perfectly logical for me to assume you are a dumbass. If you put it in the headliner, or a headrest or whatever, why buy that monitor, as it's listed with the in dash monitors? Don't try to blame me for you wanting info about a stupid idea because you are a moron.

Anyway. I agree you should never watch while you drive, It is incredibly irresponsible. However, that being said and you assuming all responsibilites for your actions all you need to do is ground the parking brake sensor wire (you might need to have an on off switch too, not sure for your particular unit).

Look I had a fiberglass mold done betwwen the seats so I could mount the unit in the back. yes I could have just bought a screen to go in the headrest but everyone does that. I wanted something different. I wanted it to look cool in the back seat when we have friends ride with us. I install car audio all the time but this is my first time with a all in one unit so I didn't know about the parking brake wire. So quit wasting my time if you can't help me l and get off my *** about watching and driving.

I could have easily told you how to do it, but since it is a retarded thing to do, I'm not going to help. Thankfully you are in AL, and when you crash it will likely be nowhere near me.
