Hey gang. Ive had this HU for some time and just ignored several features and now Im getting curious and thought I would post on them. The 2 things are in regards to:

-Defeat sound. Ive left this off but is there a reason to use this?

-Advanced sub options to allow for selection of F0 and Q. How do I match these up or should I leave the defaults? Im running an Alpine 1.1000 amp with 2 W6v2 sealed currently. (although I am in the process of going to two SA12s or two TypeRs)

Thanks guys, appreciate it!

Defeat means all EQ settings are bypassed, aka turned off/defeated. You can do fast comparisons if you want to hear your music with the factory default settings.

Advanced sub options is your parametric equalizer.

excellent video reference hell i think i even learned how to get rid of one of my problems i had by watching that

Ok let me ask this. Right now Im using my amp to do the crossover (set at 110). I assume its better to do this in the amp than via the HU? Or should I be doing both? Thanks
