Need Help to decide

Hi Guys

Great to be here on the Car Audio Forum. I am a newbie and appreciate your help.

I need our experts suggestions/help in deciding about the sub-woofer.

I have a KIA Sportage 2007 SUV with Alpine HU IVE-W530ABT and stock speakers.

I have already purchased a Clarion 4 Channel Amp. model APX4240 (400Watts) - Still not installed.

I am now planning to buy a Polk Sub-woofer DB1212 - (2ohms, 20Hz-200Hz, 50-360RMS, 100db)

Kindly let me know if this combination will be suitable and or work fine.

Any suggestions/recommendations will be highly appreciated. Also if someone can direct me to the installation/mounting guide.

Are you planning on running the sub off the 4 channel? I recommend a small mono block amp for the sub man. At 2 ohms, you can't bridge the amp to power that sub. Run the stock speakers off the 4 channel with the gains low, since you already bought it, or get a sub that's 4 ohms.
